Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are custom-made to bond to and cover the front surface of a tooth.
Porcelain veneers are an excellent restoration to treat discoloured, chipped or slightly crooked teeth.
The procedure usually takes two to three visits.
At the first appointment you may discuss the treatment options with your dentist. This may include tooth whitening before the porcelain veneer is made.
At the second appointment, the teeth are prepared for the veneer. The dentist will remove a thin layer from the surface of the teeth. This allows room for the veneers to be bonded into place. An impression is made of the prepared teeth.
At the final visit, your beautiful custom-made colour matched veneers are bonded into place giving you a smile that you will love. Porcelain veneers do not discolour and maintain their shiny high-lustre appearance.
